Sega admits ChromeHounds problems

Tuning in for our thoughts on some big mech action and wondering where the review is?

Sega has admitted there are major problems with the Xbox Live aspects of the newly released mech game ChromeHounds. Many players have been unable to connect to the online game at all, and you can count me among them.

"We are currently experiencing some issues with the online component of Chromehounds," said Sega. "We have discovered that there is an artifical limit on the number of players that are able to play online at any one time. SEGA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure you that we are working to correct this issue. We have already carried out two rounds of server maintenance and greatly increased the number of players that can play online. At this time we are working with Microsoft to increase this number even further during the scheduled server maintenance on Tuesday 11th July."

We were hoping to bring you a review of ChromeHounds over the weekend but due to the problems with the game’s online component we were unable to gain much experience with the online component. I see little point in rushing ahead with a review of the game when the online multiplayer is the most important part.
