No Forza 2 until June 07

Moore explained to MTV that Too Human, Crackdown, Shadowrun and Forza Motorsport 2 were all now scheduled for a release at the end of June 2007. That's some wait then.

Meanwhile he said that Halo 3 was shaping up to be "everything people would expect to see in a next-generation version of Halo".

On the subject of Halo he also mentioned the movie, which was recently postponed. Moore explained that several studios are looking at the project now. " While we have no deals to announce, everyone in Hollywood is looking at it," he said.

The Microsoft exec also discussed the recent controversy over micropayments to unlock content already on game disks. EA's recent tactics have been met with derision by many gamers.

"The consumer has the ability to vote. And they vote with the A-button most of the time. Either they download it or not," Moore said. "I think publishers, and we're a publisher as well, will get the message."
